We Believe

We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the only and living word of God (2Timothy 3:16)

We believe the Holy Scriptures to be useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training. (2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (1 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 5:7,8)

We believe all have sinned. (Romans 3:23)

We believe it was through the first man's (Adam's) disobedience that sin entered the world. (Genesis 2:16,17; 1 Corinthians 15:21)

We believe sin separates us from God. (Genesis 2:16, 17; Isaiah 59:2; John 9:31; Romans 5:14)

We believe the punishment for sin is death (Genesis 2:17; Romans 6:23)

We believe Jesus Christ, born of the Virgin Mary, died in our place for our sins. (Romans 4:25; Romans 5:8)

We believe all those who believe Jesus Christ died for their sins and in his resurrection will be saved. (John 3:16; Romans 6:22,23; Romans 10:9) 

 We believe all those who are saved have a personal relationship with God in this life and live with him forever in the next life. (Matthew 25:46; John 3:15) 

 We believe all those who do not have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ upon physical death will go to eternal punishment. (Matthew 25:46)
