• Transportation! When women are released from prison, many times the prison supplies transportation by way of a bus from the prison. This is good. What's not so good is that the bus usually drops the women in town at the same place every day. Exploiters know this and use this flaw to their advantage. A personal ride from prison to an exact safe location of the women's choice would be so much better. Interested? Talk to us or prison counselors.
• Safe Sleeps There is a HUGE need for permanent safe accommodation for women exiting a prison situation. Many cannot have their children back until there is evidence of safe accommodation of 2 or 3 bedrooms. Even an offer of safe accommodation for the first night would be a Godsend for many women.
